TMJ/TMJD Initial Assessment and Treatment (60 Minutes)

Description

This extended initial appointment includes a thorough assessment of your jaw, neck, and related structures to identify contributing factors to your temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJD). While the assessment portion remains the same as the standard initial visit, the additional treatment time allows your massage therapist to provide more focused hands-on care following the assessment. Your treatment may include education, targeted manual therapy, and individualized techniques to help reduce pain and tension, improve jaw function, and begin addressing contributing muscular and postural patterns more comprehensively.
